Dan Carlson has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Fitness Evaluation and Programming and has the most prestigious certification in his field as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He continuously educates himself on the human body to effectively train a wide variety of clientele. Dan’s training methodology starts with helping his clients gain joint mobility, movement symmetry, and obtaining or regaining normal functionality. The theory behind his method is that if an individual cannot move pain free in the sagittal, frontal, and transverse planes (the three planes of movement), without resistance or weights, then traditional weightlifting will only compound existing pain or create new pain.

With his lifelong love playing any and all sports, and as a CSCS with over a decade of experience training every fitness level from collegiate athletes to the elderly, Dan Carlson has provided individualized training for every population based on their needs. Whether you are interested in sports performance, powerlifting, fat loss, bodybuilding, or recovering from an injury Dan has lived them all and can provide the knowledge for any individual to meet their fitness goals in a safe, effective manner.
